We are now happy to be able to offer some instruments for sale.

 

For some time, we have been working quietly (mostly quietly) on making flutes and drums.

 

The flutes are based on the design of the Native American Love flute although tuned to standard musical scales. We will also use the "Grandfather" method of tuning the flute for the individual and in certain circumstances include your own symbols inside the sound chamber.

We do not make Native American drums. The skin drums we make are on Ash hoops with rawhide from the British Isles. The handle sometimes incorporates a crystal or piece of antler. The intention is always to produce a drum which is firmly Northern European though. If I'm not making a commission, there may be runes or ogham hidden on the rim or inside on the hoop that only the drummer knows. For a commission, please tell me what you require as symbols and the centre of the handle. These drums cost from about £140 upwards, all will be priced individually depending on the work involved and materials used.
